Guided Mokulua Islands Kayak Tour and E-Bike Adventure

The tour starts at Active Oahu Tours' storefront on Hamakua Drive in Kailua, where guides cover safety, kayaking basics, and route details before the group heads out. The first stop is Hamakua Marsh, a wildlife sanctuary directly across from the storefront, where native and endangered birds can be seen. From there, participants ride e-bikes to Kailua Beach Park, with bike trailers carrying the kayaks so no car is needed for transport.

From the beach, the group paddles out to Moku Nui, a designated bird sanctuary and one of the Mokulua Islands. Permits for this destination are included with the tour. On the island, the guide leads hikes to Queen's Bath and the surrounding tide pools, with a possible loop to the back side when conditions allow. Sea turtles and Hawaiian monk seals may be spotted along the route. Snorkeling at Lanikai Beach is an optional stop, available on request to the guide.

Water and snacks are provided throughout the day. E-bike and kayak rentals, life vests, dry bags, and snorkeling gear are all included.
