This full-day guided adventure combines e-biking and kayaking to reach Popoia Island, a small offshore island in Kailua Bay. The tour starts at the Active Oahu Tours storefront on Hamakua Drive in Kailua, where guides walk participants through kayaking techniques and local knowledge before setting off. From the beach, guides lead a kayak tour across the bay to Popoia Island, also called Flat Island, for a nature walk and optional snorkeling.
All gear is provided, including e-bike and kayak rentals, life vests, dry bags, snorkeling equipment, water, and snacks. Travelers should arrive with reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, and shoes that work for both hiking and water. Participants with dietary restrictions should notify the operator in advance.
