About this experience
The day opens with a guided hike on private property through tropical vegetation, past tranquil streams, to a secluded waterfall. After the hike, the shuttle carries participants up into the Ko'olau mountains, where the group gears up and coasts downhill on cruiser bikes along a paved road. Guides stop at overlooks to explain geological features visible from high above Honolulu and Waikiki. From the bottom, a van drops everyone at Kewalo Basin to board the Kahala Kai catamaran for a sail off Waikiki. Masks, snorkels and fins are provided for optional swimming, and the catamaran has restrooms and life jackets for kids and adults. Complimentary drinking water and a fresh water rinse are included. Note that the shuttle does not return to Waikiki after the sail, so plan for your own transportation back. The tour suits families and is weather dependent. Bring a swimsuit, towel and camera.
