About this experience
This tour combines an electric bike ride with a hike to Manoa Falls, starting at the Kuhio Beach Banyan Tree in Waikiki. From there, a guide leads the group along bike paths, side streets, and through neighborhoods before reaching Manoa Valley. The electric bikes are both pedal-assist and throttle-controlled, and each is fitted with a speaker system so the guide can share narration along the way.
The hike into the rainforest follows a semi-groomed path with some steep and rolling terrain, rain damage in spots, and elevation gain to reach the falls. The trail passes bamboo, albizia trees, and rainforest foliage. Manoa Falls has appeared in films including Jurassic Park and Aquaman: Lost Kingdom. After the hike, the group stops at a local cafe for a meal before returning to Waikiki.
