About this experience

There's something magical about exploring Waikiki's underwater world with Discover Scuba Hawaii's two-dive coral reef adventure. This 3-hour experience takes you to two distinct sites where you'll spend 25-45 minutes underwater per dive, depending on your air consumption. A private scuba instructor serves as your dedicated guide throughout the journey.

The adventure kicks off with check-in at Ala Wai Harbor, just a stone's throw from Harbor Pub. After a quick 10-minute boat ride, you'll reach your first dive site. Following your initial dive, there's a surface interval during the 5-minute trip to the second location. These coral reef dives Honolulu waters are famous for deliver incredible marine encounters-Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles glide past regularly, while Moray Eels peek out from coral crevices. You might spot octopus (locally called Tako), vibrant nudibranch, and Hawaii's state fish, the Humuhumunukunukuapua'a.

Lucky divers sometimes encounter Monk Seals or Spinner Dolphins. During winter months, Humpback Whales make appearances, and keen eyes may spot the rare Hawksbill Sea Turtle.

Groups are limited to 6 divers, welcoming participants aged 10 and above-perfect for families seeking underwater adventures together. All essential gear is included: wetsuits, equipment, and boat fees. Environmental protection is taken seriously here; touching marine life or coral violates both state law and company policy, ensuring these ecosystems remain pristine.

Arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and bring water, towels, reef-safe mineral sunblock, hat, and sunglasses. A health questionnaire is required before diving, and cancellations need 72 hours advance notice for refunds. Want to capture the memories? Enhanced options include Enriched Air, GoPro packages, and branded merchandise to commemorate your coral reef dives Honolulu experience.
