Master ear equalization, underwater hand signals, and continuous breathing techniques while getting comfortable with your gear—mask, snorkel, fins, buoyancy control device, regulator, and tank. Once you've completed the PADI Medical Questionnaire and liability forms, you'll practice breathing through the regulator and clearing your mask under direct instructor supervision.
The real magic happens during your shallow open water dive. Limited to 40 feet deep, you'll spend 25-45 minutes surrounded by Hawaii's vibrant marine life. With groups capped at just 6 people, your instructor provides personalized attention throughout the entire underwater exploration.
