About this experience
Navigation is a certification course run by Discover Scuba Hawaii that teaches divers how to find their way underwater. The course covers compass use, estimating distances, and reading natural clues such as bottom contours and sunlight to orient beneath the surface. These skills help divers explore unfamiliar dive sites and return safely to their entry point. Gratuities for the crew, a towel, a change of clothes, and swimwear are not included and should be arranged separately.
Before booking, note that this course is weather dependent, so conditions on the day can affect whether it runs. Participants will receive a health questionnaire by email in advance and should review it before the day. Anyone who answers yes to a health question on the day of the course will need medical clearance from a doctor to participate. Swimwear is not provided, so plan to bring appropriate attire.
