About this experience
Afternoon Turtle Safari takes guests by boat along the leeward coast of Oahu to snorkel at multiple reef locations in search of sea turtles, rays, fish, and other ocean animals. If the guides cannot locate a sea turtle, guests receive a return trip voucher. Excursions are led by marine biologists and seasoned island naturalists with experience on the Waianae Coast.
Snorkel gear and fins are provided. Guests may bring a camera of any type, or rent a GoPro from the operator and keep the SD card. Snacks and beverages, including alcohol, are welcome to bring along. Meals and gratuity are not included.
This tour runs in the afternoon, so no early morning commitment is required. There is no hotel pickup, so guests arrange their own transportation to the meeting point. The tour is weather dependent, meaning conditions on the day may affect operations.
