About this experience
Waikiki Whale Watch departs from Kewalo Basin Harbor and cruises along the Waikiki coastline toward Diamond Head in search of humpback whales during their seasonal return to the Hawaiian islands. The crew and captain introduce themselves at the start, walk guests through safety measures, and share information about the whales and the local area throughout the trip. A small snack, water, and hot cocoa or tea are provided on board. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and beverages, though glass bottles are not allowed.
Because whales are wild animals, sightings are not promised, but the operator offers free rescheduling when no whales or wildlife are spotted, subject to availability.
