About this experience
Tiki Escape: Sunset Cruise departs from Waikiki and heads along Oahu's south shore to a tiki bar that appeared in the TV show Magnum P.I. A captain and guide lead the trip aboard a private boat, cruising the coast each way while passengers watch for turtles and dolphins along the route. The afternoon and evening timing means guests can spend time at the tiki bar during happy hour, then catch the sunset from the water on the return to Waikiki. The tour can also be extended to see city lights or, on Friday nights, the fireworks show.
The boat comes equipped with a large sound system and a cooler with ice, so bringing along drinks is easy. Food and drinks at the tiki bar are not included and must be purchased there separately. Guests should bring shoes or sandals, swimwear, towels, and sunscreen. The tour is not suitable for pregnant women or people with mobility impairments. GoPro camera rentals and a video package are available as add-ons. The trip is weather dependent, so conditions on the day may affect departure.
