A captain and guide lead the trip aboard a private boat, cruising the coast each way while passengers watch for turtles and dolphins along the route. The afternoon and evening timing means guests can spend time at the tiki bar during happy hour, then catch the sunset from the water on the return to Waikiki. The tour can also be extended to see city lights or, on Friday nights, the fireworks show. The boat comes equipped with a large sound system and a cooler with ice, so bringing along drinks is easy. Food and drinks at the tiki bar are not included and must be purchased there separately. Guests should bring shoes or sandals, swimwear, towels, and sunscreen. Sunrise Cruise

The Sunrise Cruise departs from Waikiki before dawn and heads up the coast while the sky is still dark. As the boat moves along, the city lights fade behind and the sun rises over landmarks such as Diamond Head and Koko Head, with Molokai sometimes visible depending on sea conditions. Fresh local donuts and complimentary bubbles are served on board, along with soft drinks and water. Guests are welcome to bring additional food or drink. A swim stop is offered along the way for those who want to get in the water, and the return to Waikiki is a fast run back. The range of the trip varies with sea conditions on the day. This is an early morning outing, so arriving ready to go before sunrise is part of the experience.
