Popoia Island & Kailua Bay Guided Kayak Tour- Full Day

This full-day guided kayak tour departs from the Active Oahu Tours storefront on Hamakua Drive in Kailua and heads out to Popoia Island, also called Flat Island, a small offshore islet in Kailua Bay. The paddle out is suitable for beginners, and guides lead the group the entire way. Along the paddle, guides point out sea turtles, monk seals, and colorful fish. Snorkeling gear is provided for those who want to explore below the surface. After the kayak portion, the full-day format includes access to beach gear, with options to spend time at Kailua Beach, Kalama Beach, or Lanikai.

Kayak rentals, life vests, dry bags, snorkeling gear, water, and snacks are all included. Guests should bring reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, and shoes that work for both water and light hiking. Dietary restrictions can be noted in advance.
