Turtle snorkle & Observers

This half-day reef outing with Big Kahuna Water Sports departs from Maunalua Bay in Hawaii Kai and heads out by boat to a reef site where turtles frequent the area. Dolphins have also been known to come up alongside the boat.

A PADI certified instructor leads the trip and covers everything participants need to know before entering the water, including mask clearing, fin technique, ear equalization and basic hand signals. All rental snorkel gear is included, and camera rentals can be arranged on request.

Participants should be in good general health, and anyone with medical or physical conditions must declare them at the time of reservation. The trip is not recommended for pregnant women, elderly guests or those with disabilities. All participants sign a waiver. Pack a towel, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a swimsuit and snacks or water. Motion sickness medication is worth considering before boarding.
