About this experience
Riders are picked up in Waikiki by an air-conditioned shuttle and brought to the foothills, where the ride begins. The route follows a paved mountain road that climbs above Honolulu, passing through eucalyptus forest, swamp mahogany, bamboo, and banyan trees. The guide stops along the way so riders can take in views stretching from Manoa Valley to Diamond Head and toward Pearl Harbor and the Waianae Mountains.
The tour uses solar-powered electric-assist bicycles with a multi-speed drivetrain and a motor that provides extra power on the uphill sections while still feeling like a standard mountain bike ride. E-bikes, helmets, water, and a professional nature guide are all included in the tour.
