About this experience
The Rainforest to Reef tour begins with a shuttle pickup from Waikiki and a ride up to Puu Ohia in the Koolau mountains. From there, riders coast downhill on comfortable cruiser bikes along paved road through an Oahu rainforest, stopping at overlooks where guides point out geological features and places of interest visible from above Honolulu and Waikiki. A KHS cruiser bike, Bell helmet, and guide are all included.
After the bike ride, a shuttle drops everyone at Kewalo Basin to board the Kahala Kai catamaran for a sailing trip off Waikiki. Swimmers and snorkelers can enter the water with provided fins, bleach-cleaned masks, snorkels, and life jackets. Spinner dolphins are sometimes spotted near the catamaran, and Pacific humpback whales are sometimes seen in season. Two onboard restrooms are available.
Note that complimentary transportation ends at Kewalo Basin. Bring swimwear, a towel, and a camera. Drinking water and a fresh water rinse are provided.
