About This Experience
This 3.5-hour certified diving experience combines the haunting beauty of sunken vessels with the vibrant life of coral reefs—two completely different underwater worlds in one unforgettable trip from $179.
The adventure starts with a quick 10-15 minute boat ride from Ala Wai Harbor to an incredible shipwreck site. These sunken vessels have transformed into thriving artificial reefs, creating underwater cities bustling with marine life. After your surface interval, you'll explore nearby coral gardens where Hawaii's endemic species make their home.
What makes these dives extraordinary is the marine life diversity. Curious reef sharks glide past while Moray Eels peek from their rocky hideouts. The coral gardens burst with colorful Parrotfish and elusive Triggerfish, plus countless other tropical species. Your expert instructor knows these sites intimately and will help you spot everything from graceful sea turtles to clever octopus hiding in plain sight.
Each dive lasts 25-45 minutes, taking recreational divers to depths up to 60 feet with Open Water Certification or 130 feet with Advanced certification. Your private instructor stays with your small group of maximum six divers throughout both underwater adventures, ensuring safety while maximizing your chances of incredible marine encounters.
This certification-required activity welcomes divers aged 10 and older. Scuba diving is typically not recommended for those who are pregnant, have asthma, or have a history of seizures—consult your physician before engaging in any scuba diving activities. All scuba equipment including wetsuits is provided, with available add-ons including Enriched Air and GoPro packages. Meet at Ala Wai Harbor Slip #65 thirty minutes early, and bring reef-safe sunblock, water, and gratuities for your dive professional. Cancellations require minimum 72 hours advance notice to receive refund with 25% booking fee retained.
