This advanced open water certification course builds on your Open Water foundation with two mandatory adventure dives: deep diving and underwater navigation. You'll master dive planning for deeper waters while learning to handle the physiological effects that come with increased depth. The navigation dive hones your compass skills and teaches you to find your way using kick-cycles, visual landmarks, and time estimation—essential skills for exploring diverse dive sites.
Your remaining three specialty dives can be chosen from options like Dive Against Debris, Fish Identification, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Boat diving, and Wreck Diver. Each specialty dive counts toward future PADI certifications, so you're building credentials while exploring.
With a 6:1 student-to-instructor ratio maximum, you'll get personalized attention throughout your training. Don't worry if you don't feel "advanced"—this course is designed to make you one. Any certified Open Water Diver can join, including Junior Open Water Divers aged 12 and up.
Your package covers everything: PADI eLearning materials ($231 value), complete equipment rental (exposure suit, BCD, regulator, computer, tanks, weights, mask, snorkel, and fins), and all five training dives. Just bring swimwear, a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and sunglasses. Gratuity for crew not included.
