Discover Scuba Diving

Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory ocean dive experience for anyone curious about breathing underwater, no prior scuba experience needed. The tour meets at a slip along Ala Moana Boulevard in Honolulu, where participants board a vessel and head out to dive sites in the surrounding waters.

The experience starts with a brief orientation on equipment and basic safety guidelines, led by a PADI Professional. After practicing key skills, participants complete one open water dive under direct supervision. Participants should be in reasonable physical health and have basic swimming ability.

This tour is a good fit for non-certified divers who want a genuine underwater experience before deciding whether to pursue a full certification course. The PADI Professional will also share information about the PADI Open Water Diver Course for those interested in continuing.
