Next comes confined water training at Magic Island (3-4 hours), where you'll master essential skills like gear setup, mask clearing, and hovering techniques. Your instructor will call 24 hours ahead to confirm the exact meeting time at their shop. Then comes the best part - two days of actual ocean diving in Hawaii's waters. Day one combines your confined water work with your first two shore dives (3-4 hours), taking you comfortably down to 40 feet. Day two gets even more exciting (3-4 hours) as you board their charter boat from Ala Wai Harbor (slip #68) for dives three and four. Choose either the 8:15 AM or 1:15 PM departure and dive up to 60 feet while putting your new skills to work in real ocean conditions.
