About this experience
Kailua Beach Adventures runs this guided kayak tour out to the Mokulua Islands, following a route that takes paddlers past Lanikai before reaching the islands. Once there, the itinerary includes a stop at Queen's Bath, time to snorkel or kayak surf, and lunch before the return paddle. A certified guide leads the group throughout, helping locate good snorkel reefs and salt pools, and helping protect Hawaiian Monk Seals that frequent the area.
The shop stocks retail gear and offers a discount for any last-minute items. Optional round-trip transportation from Waikiki is available for select departures.
All paddlers should be physically fit and able to swim. Participants check in at Kailua Beach Adventures ahead of the departure for a briefing before kayaks are carted to the beach.
