About this experience
The tour runs from December through April, when Humpback whales move through Hawaiian waters. If no whales are spotted, the operator offers a return trip at no charge.
After the whale-watching portion, the boat moves along the coast, where guests may see Spinner dolphins, Rough-toothed dolphins, Spotted dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, and green sea turtles. There is also a snorkel stop to swim with sea turtles and reef fish, and snorkel gear is provided. Coolers are available for guests who bring their own food and drinks, and ice is available on request. Gratuity and meals are not included.
A safety briefing is given before departure. Basic swimming ability is required for the snorkel portion. The tour runs in a small group setting, which keeps the experience personal.
