Surf Lessons

Surf Lessons with Sea & Board Sports Hawaii LLC takes place on the North Shore of Oahu and is designed for complete beginners and those new to the sport. An instructor guides participants through the full session, covering the fundamentals of surfing, how to read the surf zone, etiquette in the water, timing, catching a wave, and the transition from paddling to standing. First-timers can expect a push from the instructor to help catch that first wave.

Each session includes a top-quality ST longboard, with other board types available on request, a rash guard, and beach instruction before entering the water. Private, semi-private, and small group formats are offered, so the lesson can be shaped around specific needs and comfort levels.

Basic swimming ability is required, and the physical intensity is moderate. Pregnant guests are not able to participate. Bring swimwear and sunscreen, and note that gratuity and transportation to the site are not included in the booking. The operator's focus throughout is safety and making sure every participant enjoys the experience.
