Teahupo'o from my hotel

About This Experience

After years of guiding visitors to Tahiti's most iconic surf break, I can tell you that this Teahupo'o from my hotel adventure delivers something truly special. This 7-hour journey takes you to the legendary Olympic surfing venue while unlocking access to Tahiti's pristine wilderness that most travelers never see.

We keep groups intimate—just 8 people maximum—with convenient pickup from major Tahiti hotels including Te Moana Tahiti Resort, InterContinental Resort Tahiti, Hilton Tahiti, and Le Tahiti by Pearl Resorts. Your day starts early with 7:15-7:30 AM pickup in our air-conditioned minivan, heading straight to Teahupo'o at the end of the road.

Here's where the magic happens: we board boats to reach the mythic wave that hosted the 2024 Olympic surfing games. You'll explore remote "Fenua Aihere"—Tahiti's wild territory completely inaccessible by road, where untouched landscapes await. The boat excursion includes snorkeling around coral heads on white sand banks, then we guide you through a Tahitian chestnut forest to a refreshing freshwater pool perfect for rinsing off salt water.

Mid-morning brings fresh local tropical fruits and drinks before returning to land around noon. We'll stop for photos at the Teahupo'o Wave monument featuring the Olympic rings, then treat you to an à la carte lunch at La Plage de Maui—one of the peninsula's finest restaurants. The day concludes with a peaceful visit to Vaipahi water garden and its waterfall.

This comprehensive Teahupo'o from my hotel tour starts from €150 per person and includes round-trip transportation, local breakfast, all boat activities, lunch, and beverages. Bring towels, water shoes, sun protection, and a camera—we don't provide these items. You'll return to your hotel around 3:30+ PM having experienced Olympic surfing history, pristine wilderness, and authentic Tahitian hospitality with expert local insights throughout your journey. Please note that activities may be adapted based on weather conditions.
