Popoia Island Kayak and E-Bike Guided Adventure Tour

This guided adventure combines e-biking and kayaking to reach Popoia Island, also called Flat Island, off the shore of Kailua. The tour starts at the Active Oahu Tours activity hub on Hamakua Drive, where guides cover parking tips, ocean access, and kayaking techniques before the group heads out. From the beach, the group paddles across Kailua Bay to Popoia Island for a nature walk and optional snorkeling. Guides share information on local culture and marine life throughout.

All gear is provided, including the e-bike, kayak, life vest, dry bag, and snorkeling equipment, along with water and snacks. Dietary restrictions can be noted in advance. Participants should bring reef-safe sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, and shoes that work for both hiking and water. Anyone who forgets those items can purchase them at the storefront. Riders should be comfortable on a bike before joining.
