PADI EFR & Rescue Diver Courses

PADI EFR & Rescue Diver Courses

About This Experience

Looking to take your diving to the next level? The PADI EFR & Rescue Diver Courses in Honolulu offer exactly what serious divers need—a week-long certification program that builds real emergency response skills while earning multiple certifications.

Here's how it works: you'll spend Tuesday and Thursday evenings (6:00 pm to 9:00 pm) in Emergency First Response classroom sessions, mastering CPR and first aid without the pressure. Wednesday evening moves to the pool for hands-on rescue training, letting you work through emergency scenarios in a controlled setting. Then comes the real test—two full ocean sessions on Saturday and Sunday (7:00 am to 12:00 pm) at Honolulu's best diving spots, where you'll put everything together in actual open water conditions.

What sets these PADI EFR & Rescue Diver Courses apart is the Emergency First Response component. You're not just learning diving rescue techniques—you're building confidence to respond during any medical emergency. The training focuses on simple-to-follow steps that increase your willingness to help, whether you're 60 feet down or walking down the street.

The problem-solving skills you'll develop make you a better dive buddy, someone others can count on. You'll learn to prevent problems before they happen and manage them effectively when they do.

PADI Adventure Divers ages 12 and older who've completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive can join. Dive Oahu runs the program starting from $449 per person, including PADI Rescue Diver certification with eLearning, EFR Primary and Secondary Care certification with student manuals, EFR Care for Children certification, PADI Emergency Oxygen certification, and all scuba equipment.

Classes meet at 609 Keawe Street in Honolulu. Just remember the 48-hour cancellation policy, and makeup sessions are available for additional fees.
