About this experience
This private horseback ride departs from Palehua Trail Rides LLC in Kapolei, where guests meet at a gated facility off Umena Street. The trail leads to a ridge-line stop overlooking Nanakuli Valley, where riders break for a prepackaged lunch and drink. A guided walking tour through the surrounding landscape and a photo stop with ocean and mountain backdrops are both included. Helmets are required and provided for every rider.
The tour is structured as a private group outing, making it a good fit for couples or families who prefer time together without joining a larger shared group. Riders should weigh no more than the posted limit, and backpacks and purses are not allowed on the ride. Saddlebags are available for small personal items such as phones and cameras.
Getting to the meeting point requires a gate entry code, which the operator provides with the booking.
