Instructors hold Red Cross CPR and AED lifeguarding certifications and bring extensive knowledge of local ocean conditions. Basic swimming ability is required, and participation is not recommended during pregnancy. There is no hotel pickup, so plan your own transportation to the meeting point. The lesson is weather dependent, and the operator may cancel if conditions are not suitable. Guests should come prepared with swimwear and sunscreen. If anyone in the group is unhappy at any point during the lesson, payment is not required.
